Credit Card Application
Please submit a duly completed and signed copy of the Application Form to the Card Centre (No.1, Union Place, Colombo 2) or to your account holding Branch, Customer Service Point (CSP), or a Supermarket Banking Counter together with the required documents mentioned in the application. These should be handed over or sent by Registered Post / Courier.
If you are not an account holder already, you may hand over or send these documents to any Branch, Customer Service Point (CSP), or a Supermarket Banking Counter of your choice.

Debit Card Applications
ATM Cards are generally issued with all new accounts if applied for. If you are applying to open a new account please submit a duly completed Debit Card / ATM Card Application form along with the relevant Account Opening Form to a Branch, Customer Service Point (CSP), or a Supermarket Banking Counter of your choice together with other supporting documents where required. These should be handed over or sent by Registered Post / Courier.
If you are an account holder already but do not possess a Debit Card / ATM Card, please submit a duly completed and signed copy of the Debit Card / ATM Card Application Form to your account holding Branch, Customer Service Point (CSP), or a Supermarket Banking Counter or to the Card Centre at No.1, Union Place, Colombo 2, together with the required documents mentioned in the application. These should be handed over or sent by Registered Post / Courier.
You may select a Debit Card / ATM Card of your choice.
Visa Debit Cards are Signature based (i.e. you just need to place your signature on the sales slip to complete a purchase transaction) and
Maestro Debit Cards are PIN based (i.e. you need to enter your PIN as well as place your signature on the sales slip to complete a purchase transaction)
Please note that our Debit/ATM cards are compatible with following ATMs and Point of Sale terminals (POS) worldwide.

Commercial Bank ATMs are compatible with cards issued under both MasterCard and Visa franchise.
