BANK'S POLICY ON HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

 

We consider our people as our most valuable asset. We shall all times give due priority to their development, progress, welfare and contentment

on a continuous basis. We shall at all times aspire to be perceived as ‘the employer of choice’, with the passionate zeal to develop a dedicated team of people, who on their own initiative shall always direct and synergize all their energies towards achieving continuous excellence.

We shall at all times commit ourselves with missionary zeal to develop our people to their utmost potential, to enable them to face the challenges of the new millennium professionally and effectively. We shall provide a nurturing environment within the Bank, fully conducive to learning and development, to enable our people to equip and profess themselves, in terms of the required knowledge, competencies and attitudes to add value at all times, both to themselves and the Bank.


BANK'S POLICY ON EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

 

We shall at all times seek to create a sense of belonging among our people and maintain good relations among them, on the basis of trust and mutual understanding. We shall encourage and promote all participative activities, frank dialogue and communication both vertically and horizontally and constructive suggestions and views towards Organizational development and well being. We shall at all times provide mechanisms, support and guidance for the self development, team building, character building, resolution of grievances and to consolidate mutual relationships and comradeship, among our people.

 

BANK'S POLICY ON INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS

 

We shall at all times acknowledge the pivotal and constructive role played by employee organizations/ Trade unions in representing collective as well as the individual will, views and aspirations of our people. We shall deal with such bodies with utmost mutual respect and shall work with them and maintain close dialogue on all relevant issues and areas to achieve the goals and objectives of our Bank.

We shall not engage in, or expect such bodies to engage in, any measures which are detrimental to the well being, interests and growth of our Bank. We shall take all steps to ensure industrial peace and harmony and encourage and promote the resolution of all industrial disputes through the process of negotiations, conciliation and consensus.
